French Poodle Love

J'adore french poodles!!!

these are from the 60s and I have a major crush on them!!!! My mom had a little toy poodle (that means he's small...my mom didnt play with toys...except of course cabbage patch kids!) anyway his name was Flambeau that means torch in french so we called him Torchy....

I smile whenever i see old poodle retro collectibles and have 12 brooches..everything from red rhinestone poodles to a little pink and silver one...

Have a day filled with love of animals...past or present...real or ceramic...they are meant to remind us of unconditional love...they live in a world that knows nothing of money or power ....only food....playing.... sleep and cuddles!!!! what a dogs life!!!

Ribbons Roses and Rhinestones

My love of all things roses started in high school...i found an old poetry book with a beautiful painted rose on the cover...after that anything with a rose was to be bought- old hat boxes,sewing baskets,hats,even a broom once!!!! I loved them and that was all I have to say about that!!!!

I opened a shop in Half Moon Bay called- uh yeah...The dusty rose!!!!! Here is a photo of me (20 years ago) out in front....now I have HUla GYpsy but once again my deep rooted love of roses,ribbons and rhinestones has emerged ever so faithfully!!!

Butterflies and Bows

Spring is here!!!! As I go through my collection of over 1500 brooches I have put the butterflies and bows together for a customer of mine in Italy...Federica!
