I am designing an adorable slip dress with lace top...a drop waist and flouncy pleats and ruffles at bottom...I want to add ribbon rosettes and other beading for a vintage feel! I am going to design a silk label for inside the dresses to give a special touch!

An adorable girl named Ashley came in the shop this morning. She works at Pacifico's Restaurant downstairs and the first thing she said was..."This is the cutest shop...its what a boutique should be!" So she inspired me to take some new photos of the store showcasing all the wonderful vintage collectibles! Enjoy!

Day one of my Charity Event

Many Mahalos to all who attended Saturdays event for breast cancer.....Sarahs mom Jackie and her adorable son were my first visitors and we had so much fun! She bought 2 cameo pieces from my etsy site as well as an amazing leopard purse and little beach coverup that channeled Goldie Hawn! Since her room is all French she had to buy our Marie Antoinette statue to add to her decor! I also had some local gals come in: Marja and Rosie, Sarah and Clementine came from the other side and Daniella from Lei Spa ended the days activities with a wonderful fashion show dressup!!! She walked down to Maggies shop in a french slip dress,wicker hat, hatbox purse and Steve Madden stillettos! She looked J'adorable!!!! Hope to see more friends tommorow..Im beat so Im going home to lay down with Coco my kitty..Lots of Aloha,Anna

Feeling French Today

Why is it that lately I am dreaming of Paris? My mother was French and maybe that is why when I daydream of France I think of quiet beach walks by the row of shops where Coco Chanel had her little salon.....All the gorgeous hats in the window...her and her friend sitting on beach deck chairs on the shore...while they took a break from sales......My little boutique is in a little village and sometimes I pretend that I am in Paris in the 1920s....

Paris Flea Market Inspiration

I have been trying to be inspired by Paris flea markets to decorate my shop:Hula Gypsy! I try to picture things people would have in their little French apartments...then use that inspiration to put little touches around...feathers, chandeliers, french wire, old shoes and other accessories....Please let me know if you have any ideas for my boutique!
